Digitalization at Scale in the Life Sciences
Paul Hudson, CEO of Sanofi S.A., a French multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare company based in Paris, France, said: Collaboration and digitalization have played a predominant role in bringing COVID vaccines and therapies to market at an unprecedented rate, saving an estimated 750,000 lives in the United States and Europe alone.
Deloitte, one of the four accounting firms that make up the world's largest accounting firms, forecasts about the digitalization of the life science market in this way. Deloitte predicts that "A lot has changed in the last two years of the pandemic, and we cannot go back to the way we used to be. With access to numerous tools for collecting and analyzing data, it is time for life sciences companies to adopt digitization at scale".
Using smart sensors for digitalization not only improves efficiency in data collection and analysis, but also helps maintain an ambient the set environment. First, take a look at the YouTube video.
Reagent Chemicals and cells managed in the life science industry are expensive and temperature-sensitive. So a very high level of attention is required.
The RN400-T2TS can manage various temperature ranges at once. The temperature range used in life science is normally classified in four categories:
① A typical refrigerator should be managed at 41F(5℃) ~ 50F(10℃)
② A general freezer at -68F(-56℃)
③ A deep Freezer at -176 F(-116℃)
④ Facilities of LN2 Cryogenic Tank using liquefied nitrogen must be managed at -385F(-232℃) for stored cells
RN400-T2EX - a product of Radionode with Wi-Fi provides Thermocouple T and K type temperature sensor and PT100 temperature sensor, with a wide temperature measurement range from -392F ~ 392 F(-236℃ ~ 200℃).
In addition,a dedicated calibration software is provided so that experts can perform temperature calibration on their own. Various functions such as the built-in backup battery function, waterproof and dustproof features, blackout monitoring, and enterprise level security makes the RN400 a highly rated product.
What if there was a power outage at this facility?
Radionode’s RN400 products have a BUILT-IN UPS function, So even if there is a power outage, the battery works alternatively. Our Radionode365 service provides ubiquitous monitoring and prevents majou accidents in the field of life-science proactively.
What do you think about the risk of gas concentration in life science facilities? Lack of oxygen concentration results in human costs because they use a lot of liquid nitrogen. When the high concentration of carbon dioxide used for cell culture is getting lower, cultured cells die and it leads to serious accidents. Also, the gas used for sterilization has very high toxicity, so we need to be careful of leaks. Radionode gas sensors are efficient in monitoring gas concentrations and create alarms when the limit is beyond the threshold level.
The UA59-CO2 model can detect high concentrations of gas in a carbon dioxide incubator. This product can detect gas concentration levels up to 100%, and it is made of stainless steel and it is waterproof. So it is optimized for carbon dioxide monitoring in incubators. UA59's thin film cable prevents gas from leaking out.
